The company we are representing is a fast-growing HealthTech software scale‑up developing next‑generation clinical workflow and diagnostic platforms. They are expanding their commercial footprint across the Eastern US and are seeking a highly commercial, strategic sales leader to drive adoption, build a high‑performing team, and deliver strong revenue growth.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the US commercial strategy for innovative medical software, influence adoption across hospitals and healthcare networks, and make a tangible impact on clinical operations and patient care.
Role Purpose
The Director of Sales – Eastern US will own the full commercial strategy and execution for the company’s medical software solutions. You will lead a regional sales team, manage key enterprise accounts, and partner with clinical, marketing, and product teams to accelerate adoption and drive revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the Eastern US commercial strategy for medical software solutions, ensuring alignment with global and company objectives.
Lead, mentor, and grow a regional sales team, providing coaching, goal setting, and performance management.
Partner with clinical, marketing, and product teams to ensure successful launches, KOL engagement, and enterprise onboarding programs.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes; provide actionable insights to leadership and adapt regional strategy accordingly.
Set and oversee regional budgets, sales targets, pipeline health, and performance reporting, ensuring commercial objectives are met.
Own key accounts and strategic relationships with hospital systems, imaging centres, and enterprise healthcare networks to influence adoption.
Support the sales team on high‑value opportunities, providing guidance on negotiations, RFP responses, and value propositions.
Represent the company externally at major conferences, trade shows, and industry events to strengthen brand and relationships.
Candidate Profile
University degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or equivalent; MBA is a plus.
7–10+ years’ experience in medical software, digital health, or MedTech sales, with at least 3–5 years in leadership or commercial management.
Proven track record selling into hospitals, health systems, or enterprise healthcare networks.
Strategic thinker with a hands‑on leadership style; able to set direction and execute.
Based in the Eastern US with flexibility to travel across the region.
Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills.
Experience with AI‑driven clinical or diagnostic software, or prior work with workflow platforms, is a plus.
