Manager, Distribution Strategy Paramount’s US Distribution team is hiring a Manager, Distribution Strategy. We want you to help build and lead the distribution strategy for Paramount’s Cable, Broadcast and Streaming portfolio including its flagship services, Paramount+, Pluto TV, CBS, MTV, Comedy Central, and Nickelodeon. This role works directly with multiple teams across Paramount, including Distribution and Business Development, Product and Technology, Marketing, Finance, Ad Sales, and corporate leadership to support the growth and management of Paramount’s distribution portfolio. This role will report to the Sr. Director, Strategy and will be based out of either our Los Angeles or New York.

This meaningful role has a broad range of responsibilities, including:

Key Responsibilities

Model financial impact of new business development leads including expanding existing partnerships, one‑on‑one opportunities, and value exchange during contract negotiations

Operate as subject‑matter expert for platform performance and data

Track ongoing performance of key distribution platforms and partnerships

Generate ongoing reporting for senior leadership on platform KPI trends, and related financial impact

Partner cross‑functionally to value new product feature development, order business development priorities, and drive product roadmaps

Lead data collection and presentation creation for quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with distribution partners, supporting business development leads

Develop performance reporting and collaborate with business intelligence to support ongoing strategy, business development and partner management success

Partner with finance, and business development on KPI projections for budget, finance forecasts, and long‑range plans (LRP)

Basic Qualifications

2–3 years of relevant experience from investment banking, consulting, business intelligence, or similar roles

Successful track record managing strategic and operational projects

Strong academic background in business, finance, or related fields (Bachelor’s degree required)

Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other business tools (experience with BI tools a plus)

Exceptional communication skill with the ability to influence across teams

Deep quantitative and analytical skills, with a shown ability to apply data to drive decision making

Additional Qualifications

Strong curiosity in entertainment and media, streaming content

Experience in digital subscription services and/or digital retail, e‑commerce

Shown experience in Business Development, Marketing, and Finance

Strong leadership skills with ability to form lasting working relationships and encourage trust and confidence in others

Ability to work cross‑functionally across a large and complex organization with demonstrated success collaborating to tackle problems

Ability to multitask, work autonomously and adapt to a challenging, fast‑paced environment

Ability to operate independently and lead multiple teams and time‑sensitive projects simultaneously

Strong communication skills and ability to cultivate relationships

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Hiring Salary Range: $130,000.00 - 150,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job‑related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
