What You'll Do The Global Tax team’s mission is to mitigate risk, drive operational efficiencies, and add financial value by combining technical expertise with a proactive, collaborative approach to global indirect taxation.

About The Role As a Senior Tax Analyst, US & Canada, you will support the U.S. and Canadian indirect tax function—including sales and use tax, property tax, business licenses, and gross receipts taxes—while contributing to key global tax initiatives. Reporting to the Manager, U.S. Indirect Tax, you’ll collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and Legal to ensure compliance, support audits, and improve operational efficiency. This role is ideal for a motivated tax professional eager to deepen their technical expertise and make an impact in a fast-growing organization.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review U.S. sales and use tax, property tax, gross receipts, and business license filings.

Support property tax compliance and reporting across all U.S. locations, coordinating with external providers.

Assist in developing and maintaining tax exemption strategies, particularly for data center operations.

Collaborate with Procurement and Accounting to ensure tax-efficient purchasing and accurate ledger reporting.

Research and interpret state and local tax regulations to maintain compliance.

Support audits and responses to state and local tax authority inquiries.

Assist with tax accounting and reconciliations related to indirect tax accounts.

Participate in process improvement and automation projects to enhance compliance efficiency.

Provide ad‑hoc support for other global tax initiatives, including VAT, GST, and income tax.

Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation.

Who You Are

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

4+ years of progressive experience in indirect tax, property tax, or related accounting roles.

Property tax experience required, including compliance, assessments, and reporting.

Knowledge of Canadian indirect tax (GST/HST/PST) compliance and reporting.

Strong accounting and compliance background.

Experience preparing and reviewing multi‑jurisdictional tax filings.

Exposure to sales and use tax and business license compliance preferred.

Familiarity with tax technology tools and ERP systems.

Big 4 accounting and/or multinational corporate in‑house experience required.

Preferred

CPA, CMI, or equivalent certification preferred.

Exposure to sales and use tax and business license compliance preferred.

Base Salary The base salary range for this role is $98,000 to $143,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

Our Workplace While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets.
