What to Expect Tesla Collision is seeking an energetic professional with a proven track record of managing people and processes to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world. As the Collision Center Manager, you will be responsible for managing the workflow and production work force at our OEM owned Collision repair center. This position requires a strong understanding of Collision shop business processes and operations, as well as the willingness to adapt to and excel in a dynamic business environment. You must be a strong tactical problem solver who can work in a fast-paced environment, capable of multi-tasking, and effectively leading a team to achieve business goals and objectives.

What You'll Do

Provide effective supervision and coaching to all site shifts to meet quality and facility goals. Maintain shop records and inventories. Manage the flow of work through the facility

Act as the process leader for assigned site. Define and improve work standards with input from technicians and the team. Lead, coach, and develop a highly engaged team

Ensure work standards are current and accurate. Monitor employees to ensure they follow safety regulations and the collision center's safety program

Work with employees to resolve technical and personnel issues. Schedule staff to meet facility needs and allow for vacations and time off according to company policies

Select team members and ensure they receive required training. Hold regular one-on-one development meetings to support their professional growth and career advancement. Monitor training needs for the team and individuals, and coordinate training with training team resources as needed

Provide effective daily communication to align all team members on goals. Share any issues that affect the facility or the overall organization

Partner with the Regional Manager to scale and grow shop production to meet company targets, and work collaboratively with key partners. Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager to support the business

What You'll Bring

5+ years of experience leading a collision center, refurbishment center, service center, or similar

5-10+ years of collision technical experience or aptitude preferred

Ability to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality and quantity. Able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, set and achieve goals, lead group root-cause problem-solving, and develop quick countermeasures

Able to interact effectively with customers as needed

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Experience with Microsoft Office and understanding of repair estimates

Valid driver's license preferred
