Position: Dentist (Part-Time)
Location: Lexington, VA
About Us Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is a family‑owned healthcare organization with over 25 years of experience and a flawless ethical and legal track record. Our mission is to work hand in hand with facilities to increase the accessibility of healthcare services to the geriatric population by bringing care directly to them. We provide on‑site portable dentistry, podiatry, audiology, and optometry at Senior Centers, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, and Veteran Homes across 20+ states and are looking to expand that footprint.
Position Summary A compassionate and experienced Dentist (Part‑Time) is needed to provide care to the elderly. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high‑quality, patient‑centered care to seniors, with an emphasis on comfort, respect, and proper oral health.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive dental care to elderly patients, including routine exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions, dentures, and other procedures as required.
Conduct oral health assessments, develop treatment plans, and offer recommendations tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
Educate patients on maintaining good oral hygiene and preventing dental issues specific to aging populations.
Work collaboratively with care staff to ensure seamless coordination of care.
Ensure a comfortable and safe environment for elderly patients, adapting to any physical or cognitive limitations.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
Current state dental license and other required certifications.
Experience in geriatric dentistry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with elderly patients.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing patient‑centered care.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Schedule
1–2 days per week
Weekday availability
8‑hour day, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
Compensation
$800 – $900 per day
