Position Summary Forgen’s legal department is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to be a part of our collaborative team. You will assist the legal department and project management staff with contract documentation and keeping our projects functioning effectively within our policies. You will champion contract policy and procedure revision and improvement. We are looking for a high performer who has exceptional communication skills and is adaptable, team-oriented, and operates with a high degree of integrity.

Support the legal department in organizing, drafting and negotiating of contract and subcontract documents.
Drive the contracting process and serve as point of contact for internal stakeholders and customers.
Assist with processing construction licenses.
Maintain contract document organization, including version control, updating, and document security.
Review and summarize key commercial terms from contracts and subcontracts.
Recognize and analyze project risk by complying with risk management policies.
Assist the legal department and project teams with change management, including change order review and compliance.

Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience working with contracts and subcontracts and ideally previous construction industry experience.
Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field.
Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative.
Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time.
Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt.
Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives.
Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
Excellent computer skills including knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.
Above average oral and written communication skills, along with independent judgement and creativity applied to resolution of issues.
Highly proactive and responsive to internal and external customers.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and advise project leadership on complex issues.
Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive on behalf of company business.
Physical Demands & Work Environment This hybrid office‑based role requires frequent computer use and effective communication, with occasional travel to project sites as needed. Site visits may involve extended periods of standing or walking and required PPE, with potential exposure to heavy equipment, chemicals, dust, fumes, uneven terrain, and extreme weather.
