PacTec, Inc., is seeking a full-time Quality Assurance Inspector for our Clinton, LA production facility. The QA Inspector is responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to make sure they meet company requirements. The duties include measuring objects compared to their intended physical specifications, running quality tests and identifying defects. PacTec is a great place to grow your career.
Responsibilities
Assist with developing and implementing quality assurance plans and procedures
Conduct thorough testing and inspections
Identify and document quality issues
Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues, necessary adjustments, and changes to production processes
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Stay up to date on industry's best practices and standards
Participate in audits and inspections
Provide training and support to other team members
Recommending strategies to improve product quality
Qualifications Education: CAD experience a plus for understanding of drawings/diagrams, and/or technical certification in Engineering or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects up to 35 lbs. Work involves frequent periods of sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting/turning, reaching and bending at the waist.
Skills Problem‑solving skills, analytical skills, attention to detail, communication skills, and proficiency in relevant software.
