Territory Sales Manager – Building Material
Join BlueLinx Corporation as a Territory Sales Manager and help grow our building materials portfolio. Key responsibilities involve managing existing customers and expanding our market.
Base Pay Range $75,000 – $85,000 per year plus commission.

Primary Duties
Identify new sales opportunities with new & existing customers.
Maximize sales efforts by focusing on the most profitable opportunities.
Improve profitability, product penetration and mix with all customers.
Qualify sales opportunities through market/customer research and teamwork with inside sales reps.
Develop sales solutions and competitive pricing strategies; communicate value proposition.
Close sales opportunities by securing purchase orders and executing order fulfillment procedures.
Provide outstanding customer service & post‑sales satisfaction to build repeat business.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (MS/MBA a plus).
4+ years of sales experience, preferably managing an established book of business and expanding partnerships.
Knowledge of building materials industry preferred.
Market knowledge, product experience, strong relationship building and consultative selling skills.
