Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life by designing and providing device and management solutions for treating structural heart disease. We are recruiting an R & D manager to join our Ventures organization. This is a unique opportunity to join the transcatheter mitral valve replacement program that is developing a novel technology solution for patients suffering from mitral valve disease who could benefit from transfemoral prosthetic mitral valve replacement. The individual who fills this role will play a pivotal part in the design, development, and testing of the next Gen TMVR delivery system from early concept TD P through PDP development. The candidate will be responsible for providing engineering expertise in its creation and leadership of the technical direction of the engineering team. LEAD

hands‑on technical management by actively engaging with engineering teams to solve complex problems and drive project success. BUILD

decision trees and scenario models that balance technical feasibility, budget constraints, timelines, and scope. GROOM

with cross‑functional stakeholders to influence decisions and align priorities toward achieving business objectives. INTEGRATE

technical considerations with financial and operational requirements to ensure robust, scalable solutions. DRIVE

risk‑aware decision‑making processes that account for time‑critical milestones and strategic business needs. CONTRIBUTE

to all phases of design control, ensuring compliance and quality throughout development. SPIN

CAD models to support design iterations and provide technical input on product architecture. MANAGE

change orders (COs) effectively to maintain documentation integrity and project alignment. EXECUTE

hands‑on testing and validation activities to confirm performance and reliability of designs. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Minimum 10 years of medical device development experience. Post Graduate experience of a relevant nature contributes to years of experience. Previous experience successfully managing direct reports and structuring work for others in work breakdowns and Gantt charts for program management. High level verbal and written communication skills. Expertise using SolidWorks. Preferred Qualifications

Hands‑on experience with TMVR trans‑catheter heart valve delivery systems. Advanced degree in a technical field. Extensive knowledge of metals and polymers used in the catheter medical device industry. Apply Now
