Cydecor is looking for a highly experienced Senior Navy Electronics Engineer with experience in electrical/electronic design, specifically focused on shipbuilding and defense systems.
Responsibilities
Develop maintenance and testing procedures for electric and electronic components and equipment.
Evaluate systems and recommend design modifications or equipment repair.
Inspect electric and electronic equipment, instruments, and systems to ensure they meet safety standards and applicable regulations.
Requirements
15+ years professional experience in electrical/electronic design.
Bachelor’s degree.
Interim or Active Secret security clearance.
Bonus Points
Experience in electrical/electronic design for Navy shipbuilding and defense systems.
Knowledge of Navy acquisition processes.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical design standards and practices for Naval ships and systems.
Knowledge of DoD or DoN procedures and policies, including the DoD 5000 process.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills.
Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) License.
Security Clearance Minimum: Interim or Active Secret security clearance; Preferred: Interim or Active Top Secret security clearance.
Education Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
Work Schedule M-F, Onsite
Compensation and Benefits The anticipated compensation range for this position is $176,700.00–$200,200.00.
