Job Description Summary The Senior Program Manager – Enterprise Application leads the successful delivery of large-scale, enterprise-level technology initiatives, including major system implementations, enterprise application enhancements, and digital modernization/transformation efforts. This role oversees the full program lifecycle from strategic planning through execution and operational handoff, ensuring alignment with business objectives, budget, schedule, and quality standards. Acting as the central point of accountability, the Senior PM partners with executives, technology leaders, and business stakeholders to drive transformation, optimize processes, and deliver measurable business value. A critical part of the role is leading Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities to ensure solutions are not only delivered but effectively adopted across the organization.
Position Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Strategy – Develop and execute program strategies for complex enterprise technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, digital transformation roadmaps, and stakeholder expectations.
Planning & Execution – Oversee the creation and management of integrated, resource-loaded master schedules, budgets, and risk management plans; adjust priorities based on evolving business needs and program critical path.
Stakeholder Engagement – Serve as the single point of contact for program execution, facilitating communication between business units, IT, vendors, and executive leadership. Ensure high customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
Organizational Change Management (OCM) – Lead change management strategy and execution, including stakeholder analysis, communications planning, training strategy, readiness assessments, and adoption metrics. Partner with business leaders to ensure cultural, process, and behavioral changes are embedded for long‑term success.
Change & Risk Management – Lead enterprise change management efforts, identifying risks, dependencies, and impacts to business operations. Develop and execute mitigation plans to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
Governance & Reporting – Establish and manage program controls, success criteria, and KPIs. Provide regular program status updates and executive‑level briefings on progress, risks, and financial performance.
Cross‑Functional Leadership – Partner with product owners, solution architects, functional leads, and operations to ensure successful system design, development, testing, deployment, and adoption.
Business Development & Continuous Improvement – Support opportunity analysis, vendor selection, and proposal development for new initiatives. Drive continuous improvement by leveraging lessons learned and industry best practices.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
12–15 years of experience managing large‑scale programs, with a proven track record in digital transformation, enterprise application implementations, and/or major system upgrades
Demonstrated success leading multi‑million‑dollar programs with complex technical and business change adoption components
Deep understanding of project management methodologies, organizational change management principles, systems development lifecycle (SDLC, Agile, and hybrid approaches), and developing risk management & mitigation plans
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to navigate competing priorities and influence without direct authority
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and other program management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, etc.).
Exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills
Some travel required (~20%)
Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies
Master’s degree in Business, Technology Management, or related field
PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification
Experience in cloud migrations, ERP implementations (e.g., Oracle), or enterprise system integrations
Strong knowledge of digital adoption strategies, user training, and post‑implementation support models

Clearance Level The salary range for this role is: $153,308 – $217,140
