Account Operations Team The Account Operations Team is responsible for handling all client-directed requests on existing AssetMark accounts. This can include anything from an investment change, to a withdrawal, to a beneficiary update. The primary goal of the team is to ensure requests are addressed and processed timely, accurately and with the client’s intention at top of mind. Key performance measures for the team include accuracy, productivity, contact quality, team engagement results and NPS (loyalty) survey results from Advisors.

Team Workgroups Each team focuses on a specific work type. Assignments are based on proficiency need, capacity requirements, tenure and skill.

Money In:

handles all incoming funds to the firm (checks, wires, ACH, investment plans).

Money Out:

handles all outgoing distributions (withdrawals, cash, RMDs, tax withholding).

Move Money:

handles all movement across accounts (investment changes, journals, beneficiary movements).

Maintenance:

handles all account information updates (beneficiary changes, banking, address).

Coordinators:

focuses on advising contact and resolution communication, outreach and campaigns.

Partner Custodian:

handles all requests for partner custodians (Pershing, Fidelity, TDA‑Schwab).

Reports, Audit and Controls:

manages key reports, reconciliations and outage resolutions.

Responsibilities

Partner closely with Team, Service and Leaders to ensure client requests are handled with care and accuracy.

Be productive and ensure all requests are handled within assigned service levels.

Adapt and be flexible based on the needs in the business and within the team.

Provide timely, complete, knowledgeable and responsive communications regarding non‑in‑good‑order (NIGO) requests.

Assess and minimize risk to the organization.

Work effectively across teams, peers, and other departments.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in the financial industry.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to see the “bigger picture.”

High proficiency in operational processing.

Outstanding customer focus and a track record of memorable service.

Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills.

Demonstrated analytical and decision‑making skills.

Results oriented – proven ability to set and meet aggressive goals.

Compensation The base salary range for this position is $55,000 – $60,000, with additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.

Work Location & Eligibility Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Hybrid work schedule is required, and applicants should be near the Phoenix, AZ or Chicago, IL offices.
