What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Lead and mentor multiple engineering teams across cloud infrastructure and platform engineering
Develop hiring strategies and organizational structures to scale engineering talent
Drive multi-team initiatives to deliver scalable and secure infrastructure using AWS technologies
Oversee high-severity incident responses and guide postmortem analysis for systemic improvements
Collaborate with finance and product teams on budgeting and forecasting related to cloud operations
What is Required (Qualifications)
8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE, with at least 3 years in leadership roles
Proven track record of leading multiple engineering teams in a production AWS environment
Expertise in cloud-native architectures and infrastructure-as-code tools
Strong understanding of FinOps principles and cloud cost control strategies
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with both executive stakeholders and technical teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer)
Experience managing senior technical leaders in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with SRE principles and large-scale observability practices
Background in regulatory environments (SOC2, PCI, HIPAA) and cloud security controls
Experience with modernization efforts in cloud environments
