Readiness Senior Analyst - G8 Support Services To apply, join the contract to support the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS, G8) at JANUS Research Group. The role is subject to contract award.

About the Role The DCS, G‑8 is the principal military adviser to the Chief of Staff, Army (CSA) and the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA(FMC)) for the Programming phase of the PPBE process. The position coordinates with the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)) on programming and process recommendations for acquisition and science and technology initiatives and with Army Futures Command (AFC) for program funding.

Responsibilities

Support the readiness analysis mission to conduct in‑depth analysis of Army and unit equipping readiness, identifying issues and proposing solution sets.

Identify root causes of Army Equipment on Hand (EOH) un‑readiness and systemic equipment shortages recorded by the Army Readiness Management System (ARMS).

Perform data trend analysis, coordinating staffing with ACOMs, G‑4 and AMC; provide monthly Trends Analysis chart to the Branch Chief.

Participate in efforts to increase S‑Level Unit Readiness, coordinate with ACOM and ASCCs, identify Army excess equipment.

Coordinate solutions to resolve excess imbalance.

Support monthly readiness updates to Army and DCS G‑8 leadership.

Coordinate the development and assembly of briefing books; support meeting execution.

Review assigned policies and regulations for DCS G‑8 equipping equities; recommend edits for government approval.

Examine interoperability of capabilities between different modernization levels.

Conduct necessary reviews and analyses; prepare senior leaders for Interoperability Assessment discussions.

Maintain an active Secret security clearance.

Desired Qualifications

Courses: How the Army Runs (HTAR), RQM 1010 / CLR 101 Introduction to JCIDS, RQM 1100 series / RQM 110 Capabilities Development Course (CDC), RQM 3100 / 310 Advanced Concepts and Skills, CLR 151 Analysis of Alternatives, RQM 2500 / CLR 250 Capabilities Based Assessments, RQM 2520 / CLR 252 Developing Performance Attributes.

Salary & Benefits Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 per year. Benefits include 401(k), Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Medical and Dental Plans, Life and Disability insurance, and Education Assistance.
