Senior Tax Analyst - Abbott

Senior Tax Analyst – Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation, review, and filing of U.S. international tax returns (Forms 5471, 5472, 8858, 8865, 8991, 8992, 8993, 1118, 1120‑F, 1042 series, and related disclosures).
Apply knowledge of U.S. international tax rules (GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, BEAT, FTC, foreign currency transactions) to meet global reporting requirements.
Assist with annual and quarterly tax provision processes, reviewing international tax provisions, tax accounts, and reserves, with working knowledge of ASC 740 and relevant FASB pronouncements.
Research complex tax issues and interpret tax law, regulations, and court cases for specific transactions.
Monitor legislative changes in U.S. international tax and assess impacts on the company.
Participate in special projects, including support for international tax planning transactions.
Coordinate responses to IRS audit information requests, gathering data for tax positions.
Identify and implement workflow efficiencies using technology and automation.
Support maintenance of international tax documentation and controls to meet SOX and internal audit requirements.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of international tax experience.
B.A./B.S. in Accounting or Finance.
Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills, with independence.
Ability to work under a hybrid model: U.S. tax professionals must be in office 4 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
Public accounting or Fortune 500 multinational corporate tax experience.
CPA and/or MSA/MST credentials (preferred, not required).
Experience with Corptax reporting software.
Experience with Alteryx software.
Advanced Excel skills.

$85,300.00 – $170,700.00 (location-dependent).
