Job Description This job is responsible for executing and supporting the technical production of live events, broadcasts, and pre‑recorded media across internal facilities and off‑site venues. Key responsibilities include system installation, equipment operation, live troubleshooting, and maintenance of audiovisual & broadcast infrastructure. Job expectations include precise technical execution, proactive problem solving, and reliable delivery under time‑sensitive production conditions.
This role supports the corporate communications team by providing technical expertise in audio, video, and encoding operations, ensuring smooth execution of live and recorded productions at our Boston broadcast facility. In addition to managing broadcast systems, the position includes administrative support for scheduling and documentation, as well as on‑site and off‑site coordination of temporary AV build‑outs for Bank of America events in partnership with approved AV vendors.
Responsibilities
Sets up and operates video, audio, and broadcast systems to support live events, virtual productions, and studio‑based communications
Monitors and maintains audiovisual links between remote and on‑site locations to ensure consistent signal quality and technical stability
Installs and configures hardware and software for production spaces, including editing environments and post‑production systems
Supports technical rehearsals and live shows, performing real‑time troubleshooting and adjustments to maintain delivery quality
Collaborates with production teams and vendors to execute pre‑production, live, and post‑event workflows
Documents configuration settings, system changes, and patching records to support knowledge sharing and future readiness
Performs regular maintenance on production infrastructure and provides input on equipment upgrades and refresh cycles
Operates and supports broadcast systems in the Boston studio, including audio, video, and encoding workflows
Assists with live and recorded productions, ensuring technical quality and reliability
Provides administrative support for scheduling, documentation, team coordination, and resource management
Required Qualifications 7 years of experience in Broadcast Operations, AV Support or live event production
Desired Qualifications
AVIXA CTS‑D or CTS‑I – advanced design or installation specialization
Audiovisual Network Professional (ANP) – AV networking expertise
Manufacturer‑specific training/certifications, such as: Yamaha Pro Audio (CL/QL/Rivage series consoles); Dante Domain Manager Administrator; Ross Video Carbonite or Ultrix training; Shure Wireless Systems certification; Panasonic Broadcast Systems training
Cisco CCNA – networking fundamentals for AV‑over‑IP environments
Skills
Broadcast engineering fundamentals (audio/video signal flow, encoding, streaming)
Live event production support
Strong organizational and planning skills
Vendor coordination and relationship management
Familiarity with AV systems and networking basics
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Adaptability to manage multiple responsibilities
Willingness to travel up to 40%

Pay and benefits information Pay range $84,600.00 - $117,900.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
