As the Manager of Quality Assurance, you will oversee all Quality Assurance functions ensuring full compliance with FAA Part 135 regulations and company safety protocols. You will lead a team of auditors and maintenance personnel, develop and implement standard operating procedures, and collaborate cross‑functionally to scale and enhance our drone delivery capabilities. Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance & Certification

Develop, implement, and oversee Quality Assurance functions in compliance with FAA Part 135 regulations. Thorough knowledge of the content of Part 135 documentation and experience with writing and revising General Maintenance Manual (GMM), Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) and Training Manuals. Ensure company operations, aircraft maintenance, and alterations are in full compliance with Part 135 regulations and aviation safety standards. Quality Assurance Management

Assist the Head of Drone Maintenance ensuring accuracy of aircraft maintenance documentation, and the continued airworthiness of company aircraft. Chair the CASS board and conduct and manage internal audits, inspections of aircraft and maintenance facilities, maintenance processes, and operational procedures to identify any non‑compliance or potential issues. Maintain aircraft operational readiness while ensuring adherence to Part 135 requirements. Analyze data, identify trends, and develop corrective actions to improve overall quality, safety, and operational efficiency. Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Scaling

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure regulatory compliance. Work closely with the Head of Drone Maintenance, understanding what the maintenance goals are ensuring they support flight operations. Be at the forefront of autonomous aviation and shape the future of last‑mile drone delivery. Work with industry leaders in delivery, logistics and autonomous aviation. FAA Part 135 Maintenance experience, including leadership in a commercial aviation or UAS environment. Part 107 certification. Proven ability to develop and enforce SOPs for aviation operations. Strong understanding of FAA regulations, maintenance, and compliance frameworks. Experience leading teams, managing maintenance technicians, and scaling maintenance operations. Background in managing aircraft maintenance and quality management. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally. Bonus Qualifications

Experience with commercial drone delivery operations or UAS integration into logistics networks. Prior involvement in obtaining and maintaining FAA Part 135 certification for UAS operations. Strong technical understanding of autonomous flight systems and aviation software. Compensation

Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location. National base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado: $74,700—$125,500 USD. Benefits
