Senior Software Engineer
The Senior Software Engineer provides programming leadership and support for application systems development and maintenance projects, with a commitment to hospital employees and system analyst satisfaction. Provides technical leadership to IS analysts and/or associates and leads medium-size projects and/or technology initiatives through all phases of systems development including: planning, development, implementation, and operation for complex computer projects.
Epic Bridges certification, minimum 2 years highly desired.
API, FHIR, HL7, Corepoint experience minimum 1-year, highly desired.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement programs, projects and reports within the enterprise and provide maintenance of existing projects/reports/programs.
Conduct meetings, trainings and workgroups to facilitate the creation/update/maintenance of projects/reports/programs within the enterprise to internal and external customers.
Utilize available resources within the IT community internal and external to expand knowledge and expertise.
Report progress, issues, and project details to department supervisor.
Maintain staff evaluations, discipline, department policies and procedures as required by the enterprise and as required by law.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years experience in the Healthcare field of IT and management skills along with programming would be considered for this position OR
High School diploma, or equivalent, or Associate's degree and 7 or more years experience may be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

Starting Pay Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $45.83/hr, but your salaried offer will be determined based upon your education and experience.
Remote Work / Work from Home This position is entirely remote or work-from-home. The person hired must live in the Kansas City metro area and may attend on‑site meetings, as scheduled.
