Job Summary Super Micro Computer, Inc., one of the fastest growing IT companies in the world is looking for an innovative leader to fill a Sr. Software Engineer position. As a critical member of our system department, you will be responsible for AI/ML infrastructure (such as NVAIE, NIM, Kubernetes, Run.ai, etc.) and LLM applications based out of our headquarters located in San Jose, CA.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy LLM applications using Nvidia AI/ML software infrastructure and frameworks

Optimize and fine‑tune LLM models for enhanced performance, efficiency, and accuracy

Integrate with backend systems such as order management, inventory system, server/product configuration system, etc.

Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver user‑friendly and innovative solutions

Develop the technology and create the solution to solve the defined problem

Successfully meet deadlines, expectations, and perform work duties as required

Manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment

Perform all other duties, tasks or projects as assigned

Qualifications

MS or BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience in AI/LLM, deep learning and related software technologies preferred

Familiar with Nvidia AI/LLM software stack, such as NVAIE, NIM, CUDA toolkit, GPU driver, Nvidia Container Toolkit, Docker Engine, etc.

Experience and demonstrable knowledge of AI/LLM, and familiarity with common frameworks and methodologies utilized in building LLM applications

Experience integrating with backend order & inventory management system such as SAP, NetSuite, etc.

Experience with eCommerce websites including integration with eCommerce backend systems, such as payment, checkout, shipping.

Proficiency in Python (required) and Javascript/Typescript (optional)

Proven expertise in LLM training, development, and fine‑tuning

Ability to work in a highly interactive, cross‑functional collaborative environment

Ability to quickly learn new technologies, frameworks, and algorithms

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills

Self‑driven, collaborative, and committed to delivering high‑quality work

Please note that this position requires regular in‑office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours as determined by the company. In‑office collaboration and participation in team meetings, training sessions, and other on‑site activities are essential aspects of this role. Candidates should consider the commuting distance and be prepared to fulfill their responsibilities in the designated office location.

Salary Range $165,000 - $188,000. The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
