Job Summary

Branch Manager – responsible for leading the retail team to grow relationships and provide exceptional service to credit union members. The Branch Manager performs overall administrative supervision of all branch office activities including coordinating daily operations, directing personnel activities, and ensuring convenient and efficient operation of the staff and branch within the framework of federal and state laws, NCUA regulation and UFCU policies and procedures. Essential Functions

Effectively coach frontline staff in promotion & sales of assigned UFCU products & services to meet & exceed both personal & branch sales objectives. Utilize leadership & motivational techniques to create & maintain a positive work environment and a high‑performing, cohesive team. Promote UFCU’s cultural values and contribute to success of UFCU’s strategic vision and organizational goals. Monitor performance and, if necessary, correct course to reach established goals. Branch Management

Use principles of continuous process improvement to streamline & enhance branch operations according to UFCU’s strategic initiatives. Manage overall ongoing operations of the branch including staffing, training & employee relations for all branch office employees. Ensure delivery of personal financial services through teller, new accounts, loan closing & electronic delivery systems located at the branch. Ensure quality service is provided by all branch employees. Hold staff accountable to goals, initiatives, and UFCU’s policies & procedures. Leadership & Development

Continuously seek opportunities for personal & staff ongoing professional growth & learning. Use effective staffing & talent management strategies to hire, develop & grow future leaders; empower the team to achieve maximum productivity, quality of performance, job satisfaction & work‑life balance. Perform other duties as assigned. Adhere to all company policies, procedures & business ethics codes. Complete required regulatory training as assigned. Maintain strict adherence & compliance with all laws, rules, regulations & internal controls specific to your role, including the BSA, AML, USA Patriot Act, OFAC, & Fair Lending regulations. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Ability to meet goals & deadlines. Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills. Demonstrated passion for people & service, dedication to building relationships. Ability to work with members & staff tactfully & professionally, both in‑person and via phone. Experience coaching & motivating staff. Strategic & tactical thinking, continually seeking sales, service & operations efficiencies. Strong analytical & reporting skills. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Must be bondable. Experience & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum two (2) years of financial services or retail experience. Minimum two (2) years of general management experience. Minimum three (3) years with demonstrated success selling products within a retail banking environment or financial services industry. Must be bondable. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. Physical Demands

Regularly required to sit, reach, stand, walk, use hands and talk/telephone. Must regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds and frequently up to 25 pounds. Work Environment

Periodic stressful conditions may occur. May require adjusted work schedule, overtime & evening/weekend hours. Contact center responsibilities may require appropriate appearance per HR. Frequent computer use at workstation up to two hours at a time. Moderate noise level. Additional Job Information
