Fiber Coordinator

Position Overview We are seeking a Construction Coordinator to provide construction oversight and coordination for fiber projects in the Atlanta area, including insulation of fiber lines, pole replacement, and Horizontal Directional Drilling.
Responsibilities
Lead multiple projects and key client relationships within the Energy group.
Manage, direct, and take ownership of projects (performance, safety, quality, schedule, budget) and the project management team.
Handle contract administration, project planning, labor and equipment/resource management.
Maintain professional relationships with owners, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
Travel to project sites for reporting on milestones, performance, safety, quality, and budget.
Manage project from initiation through estimate, pre‑construction, execution, commissioning and closeout.
Ensure contractual agreements are met and projects are performed safely within budget and timeframes.
Approve invoicing and billings, track variance, productivity, and report financial performance.
Negotiate vendor contracts and approvals, ensuring cost effectiveness and proper SLA.
Assist project manager with execution plans, scheduling, risk mitigation, and change orders.
Source and qualify subcontractors, identify project risk, and develop recovery plans.
Support client coordination, strategic planning, budget, staffing, compliance, and schedule attainment.
Collaborate with Project Controls to manage schedules and costs against plan.
Handle internal project financials, staffing, legal coordination, risk management, change management, and HR issues.
Qualifications
BS with 10 years of relevant experience or MS with 8–10 years (preferred).
PE, PMP, or PgMP certification preferred.
Experience with government, technical, or infrastructural construction project management preferred.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Valid driver’s license required.
