C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) is a growing road construction company. Our company is seeking an experienced Pipe Foreman for our local operations.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the efficient operations and effective coordination of all pipe personnel, crews, and equipment engaged in paving, grading, and site development projects
Complete projects in accordance with federal, state, and local governing laws, ordinances, and policies
Assemble, connect and construct pipe systems for storm and sanitary sewers, drains, and water mains
Prepare sub-grade for the pipe to be laid
Set up and operate a laser to lay pipe to a specified grade and fall
Handle pipe when lowered from overhead into trench/ditch and make pipe adjustments
Lay pipe and configure pipe routes
Sets laser at the proper grade for storm, sewer, drains, and water mains
Configure pipe routes
Ensure the pipe is installed at the proper grade and in the proper depth and fitted and aligned properly with no leaks
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 – 5 years’ experience required
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed
Able to complete all required paperwork efficientlyMust be able to meet company MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver’s license
Employer conducts drug screening and background check
