Levine Cancer Institute, a part of Atrium Health, is a leading community‑focused academic health system serving North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. We invite physicians to discover all that we can do when we bring healing hearts, inquisitive minds, and visionaries together in our Oncology team in Charlotte, NC. The Institute seeks a psychiatrist to join its Psycho‑Oncology team within the Department of Supportive Oncology. This integrated, co‑located outpatient clinic supports a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, social workers, and nursing support. Position Highlights
State‑of‑the‑art facility: 2500‑SF dedicated space within a flagship quaternary cancer institute. Team‑based care: 20+ LCSWs, psychologist, psychotherapists, psychiatrists and dedicated RN/CMA support with 1:1 nursing to prescriber FTE. Supportive Oncology model: Close collaboration with palliative medicine, integrative oncology, neuropsychology, rehabilitation, survivorship, nurse navigation and nutrition. Academic and research opportunities: Optional teaching time for fellows, residents, medical students and research projects with dedicated support; academic appointment with Wake Forest University. Competitive compensation: Excellent benefits package, paternity/maternity coverage, sign‑on bonus, relocation allowance, CME expenses and salary‑based compensation (no RVUs).
