Head of Business Development and Physician Liaison
We are seeking a motivated and relationship‑driven leader to lead our growth efforts in the Austin area. This role is responsible for recruiting PTs and building and nurturing partnerships with physician offices, orthopedic practices, surgeons, and other referring providers to grow both our provider and patient base.
Key Responsibilities
Recruit amazing therapists through local outreach efforts
Identify, target, and engage physician offices, orthopedic groups, and other medical professionals to generate patient referrals
Build strong relationships through in‑person visits, follow‑ups, and value‑based conversations
Educate referring providers about our clinical offerings, patient outcomes, and operational strengths
Track and report outreach activity and referral volume using CRM or internal tools
Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for referred patients
Represent the practice at networking events, conferences, and community functions
Qualifications
2+ years experience in healthcare field (preferably a PT, OT, or SLP)
Strong understanding of outpatient rehab or healthcare services
Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills
Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and manage a territory
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel
