Delivering Solutions and Improving Lives . The Senior Transportation Project Manager position is available in Albuquerque for experienced professionals (15+ years) interested in leading a wide range of transportation projects in New Mexico and surrounding states. A Professional Engineering license in New Mexico is required, with the ability and desire to acquire licenses in other states as needed. Responsibilities
Lead the planning, design, and execution of transportation projects, including managing project schedules, budgets, staff needs, and weekly planning of work. Track project finances, coordinate and adjust work efforts to ensure projects are completed within budgets and schedules, monitoring metrics such as utilization, backlog, and receivables. Manage client expectations and lead projects to successful completion. Build and maintain relationships with clients. Identify new opportunities, lead proposal efforts, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and lead interviews and presentations. Provide technical oversight, ensure compliance with standards, and perform quality control reviews. Mentor and supervise engineers, designers, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Qualifications
Minimum of 15 years of experience leading transportation projects in the private or public sector. Willing to work full-time in the Albuquerque office or relocate to New Mexico if out of state. Hold and maintain a PE license in New Mexico or be willing to obtain one upon hiring. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D if required. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and client management skills. Willing to mentor engineering staff and continue learning and growing with the team.
