Job Duties
Oversee teams responsible for data management, analytics and reporting including Institutional Research, Data Management & Governance and Enrollment & Student Success Analytics.
Ensure alignment of enrollment and institutional data requirements with the university’s Enterprise Information Management (EIM) framework, assess and maintain data quality standards and process excellence, and ensure compliance with NYU’s data security protocols.
Collaborate with campus partners to foster a collaborative culture of data knowledge and transparency to promote evidence‑based decision making for achieving enrollment and student success outcomes and overall institutional effectiveness.

Qualifications Required Education
Master’s Degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Required Experience
10+ years in data management, institutional research, business intelligence, and analytics, preferably within a complex higher education or large non‑profit environment.
Demonstrated experience in developing strategic data infrastructure, leading predictive modeling, data warehousing, and the deployment of self‑service reporting tools and dashboards.
5+ years of senior‑level management experience leading large, diverse data teams and integrating functions such as governance, institutional research, and business intelligence.
Preferred Experience
Experienced presenter and/or thought leader in relevant professional associations.
Required Skills, Knowledge And Abilities
Exceptional strategic planning, organizational, and presentation skills, with a track record of effectively communicating complex data insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
Proven expertise in leading predictive modeling, data warehousing, and deploying self‑service reporting tools and dashboards.
Demonstrated experience in developing strategic data infrastructure.
