Test Engineering Manager Lead spacecraft and subsystem testing, including integration, qualification, acceptance, and operational support.
Desired Skills
Strong understanding of spacecraft avionics, failure modes, debugging
Knowledge of spacecraft ops, flight software qualification, and/or GNC
Working knowledge of overall spacecraft design and integration
Configuration management experience
Model-based systems engineering exposure
Requirements management, validation, and verification
Hands-on experience with digital/analog/mixed-signal electronics
Experience with DoD/USG programs; ability to hold a clearance
Required Skills
Ability to lead a team of Test Engineers
Spacecraft avionics integration and testing
Embedded systems experience
Embedded software regression testing
Lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, analyzers, power supplies)
Python scripting and test automation
Data analysis for performance validation and anomaly ID
Ability to work independently
Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills
Core Responsibilities
Lead spacecraft integration, qualification, and acceptance testing
Develop test plans/procedures across spacecraft subsystems
Support flight software testing and on-orbit anomaly resolution
Oversee laboratory facilities and ICD/ICN management
Drive NCRs, ECNs, redlines, and build-phase documentation
Implement continuous improvement for PLM/CM processes
Support flexible schedules for mission and test operations
Education
BS in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering or related field
5+ years leading test engineering teams
10+ years relevant experience
