Thisopportunity is open only to individuals who currently hold an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the required level. Engagement will be under a 1099 / Business-to-Business (B2B) contractual arrangement — not a W-2 employment position. As this is a B2B / 1099 engagement, benefits such as health insurance, paidtime off, and retirement plans are not provided. Contractors are responsible for managing their own taxes, insurance, and other business obligations in accordance with federal and state requirements. A senior military or defense professional with extensiveknowledgeof NATO doctrine and multi-domain operations (MDO). The idealcandidate has practical experience in operational planning across air, land,maritime, space, and cyber domains, with a clear understanding of how tointegrate capabilities into joint and combined operations. They are skilled at aligning operational concepts with NATO strategicobjectives, ensuring that implementation efforts support interoperability,resilience, and force readiness. Prior experience in multinational exercises,concept development, or force integration projects is highly desirable. Stronginterpersonal skills are required to coordinate across diverse stakeholders andNATO commands. Search Focus: Operational planners or force development officers with NATO MDOimplementation experience. Responsibilities

Coordinate and contribute to the activities ofthe Multi-Domain Implementation Team, across Allied Command Operations (ACO)and the Alliance Coordinate MDO Implementation through NDPP,SCDP, and DDA alignment within HQ SACT, wider ACT, SHAPE and NATO HQ Coordinate efforts with other directorateswithin ACT on MDO related activities Liaise with Exercise planners to ensure MDO isan integral part of the wider Exercise programme and gather MDO lessons learnedfrom Exercise itself Develop and enhance the Synchronisation ofNon-Military Instruments of Power into wargaming and exercises to fully movethe Alliance towards being MDO enabled by 2030 Oversee and analyse specific activities withinthe Roadmap to be able to verify the implementation of MDO within the Alliance Liaise with the Strategic Planning Group andProgramme Management to align capabilities to MDO requirements Coordinate ACT input to NATO HQ and NMA relatedpolicy development through close interaction with NATO HQ and ACO/SHAPE Requirements

A University/ bachelor’s degree in science ormanagement or 10 years of relevant and demonstrable experience Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the last 8 inexercise planning Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the last 8 inanalysing data Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the last 8working with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts Demonstrable experience with managing andfostering relationships across all levels Minimum of 4 years' demonstrable policydevelopment and strategic analysis experience Minimum of 4 years' demonstrable strategicplanning and engagements experience Minimum of 4 years' demonstrable warfaredevelopment-related experience Minimum of 2 years' demonstrable experience inproject management Demonstrable experience with internationalorganizations or multinational teams or working in a military or defenceenvironment Demonstrable knowledge of NATO structures andprocedures
