Role Overview
Sodexo Energy and Resource
is seeking a Facilities/Engineering Operations Manager 2 to join our team supporting one of our high-profile Energy Sector clients in El Segundo, CA . The successful candidate will bring extensive experience managing complex building systems such as chillers, building automation systems (BAS), fire/life safety, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) infrastructure. Sodexo provides our corporate service partners with a diverse range of integrated facilities management possibilities.
What You'll Do
Lead coordination, delivery, and quality assurance of maintenance services, ensuring adherence to client standards and performance expectations
Oversee audit and control systems to ensure compliance with statutory, policy, and contractual obligations
Develop financial plans for cost control/reduction and ensure achievement of financial goals
Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, and support to promote best practices, training, and staff recognition
Build and maintain relationships with facility team leaders, ensuring alignment with operational and strategic goals
Drive continuous improvement, monitor subcontractor performance, and ensure compliance with SLAs & KPIs

a proven track record of successful Facilities Management leadership experience as demonstrated by articulated results and accomplishments
a strong technical knowledge in Building Operations & Maintenance (HVAC/Mechanical, Electrical, and critical systems)
training in NFPA 70e, CMMS, OSHA, IFMA/BOMA – Building Operations & Maintenance, Construction, Civil Engineering
demonstrated business and financial acumen
exceptional customer service, relationship building and communication skills
strong leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team building
