Job Description DMS International is seeking an

Audiovisual Specialist

to support an upcoming contract opportunity. The Audiovisual Specialist will be responsible for planning, producing, and editing high-quality multimedia content including video, photography, motion graphics, and audio for public communications, training, and outreach. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical skill, creative vision, and strong project management capabilities to deliver compelling digital media products aligned with strategic communication goals.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as videographer, photographer, podcast producer, and editor for a wide range of internal and external multimedia projects

Develop multimedia content such as promotional videos, technical training videos, event coverage, interviews, podcasts, and social media content

Collaborate with stakeholders to define multimedia project objectives, establish production timelines, and manage deliverables through to final delivery

Record media onsite including B-roll footage and interviews with subject matter experts

Produce multimedia content using Adobe Creative Suite tools including Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, and After Effects

Ensure all multimedia content complies with branding and editorial style guides

Distribute digital media through web and social media platforms

Support the development of motion graphics and visual storytelling techniques

Conduct story development and video interviews aligned with organizational messaging

Stay up to date with emerging multimedia tools, formats, and techniques

Maintain and upgrade equipment and software knowledge to support evolving production needs

Qualifications Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience combinations:

Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, Video Production, or a related communication field and 5 years of relevant experience

Master’s degree in the above fields and 3 years of relevant experience

High school diploma or equivalent and 7 years of experience in broadcast journalism, video production, or related field

Additional Requirements

5 years of directly relevant multimedia experience in fast-paced, high-impact environments

Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects

Skilled in motion graphics, digital cameras, audiovisual recording, and digital editing

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality multimedia products

Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Strong organizational and project management abilities

U.S. Citizenship required
