UAF Institute of Arctic Biology is looking for adjunct faculty (non-credit) instructors. Adjunct positions are on a semester‑by‑semester contract basis. The incumbent will be conducting research on one or more funded projects under the guidance of or in conjunction with the host scientist. The incumbent may act as a PI or CO‑PI on funded grants.

Specific relevant experience to contribute significantly to the host scientist's project. Experience with the use of computers and other appropriate research tools and equipment to conduct the research.

Minimum Qualifications

PhD in a relevant discipline with varied levels of training and experience.

Experience commensurate with graduate level or senior scientist status.

Position Details Salary is commensurate with education, experience and the type of work assigned. This is a part‑time, adjunct non‑represented temporary position. This is a pooled position and applications are reviewed as needed; submission of an application does not guarantee review or a job offer.
