Advanced Practice Provider Cardiac Surgery Piedmont Atlanta
Piedmont Heart Institute (PHI) is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the cardiac team providing excellent patient care to our surgical patients at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. You will be joining a team of thirteen advanced practice providers and solely focus on cardiac surgery. This is a full-time opportunity.

Piedmont Heart Institute (PHI) provides the full line of cardiovascular services with dedicated electrophysiology, transplant, advanced heart failure, critical care, interventional, surgical and research services.
Responsibilities
Round on post-op patients
Provide office consults one day per week with a designated surgeon
EVH and chest closure in the OR
Thoracentesis and chest tube insertion and care
Provide care to LVAD patients

Minimum Qualifications Qualified candidates will have 1-2 years of cardiac surgery/EVH experience.
Masters, Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
