We are currently recruiting a family medicine physician to join us in Greater Charlotte, NC. Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be comfortable practicing autonomously and independently, as this role requires a high level of self‑sufficiency.

The physician will be responsible for managing a patient load of approximately 18–22 patients per day after an initial ramp‑up period.

Provide high‑quality, evidence‑based primary care services for patients in an outpatient setting.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and chronic diseases and conditions. Also immunize patients against preventable diseases.

Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.

Explain procedures, care plans, test results or prescribed treatments with patients (and their family).

Monitor patients’ conditions and progress and re‑evaluate treatments, as necessary.

Provide health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.

Maintain detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests, and/or treatments prescribed, and test results.

Refer patients to other medical specialists, when necessary.

Provide support and advice to patients receiving long‑term care.

Required Qualifications

Current and unrestricted medical license or willingness to obtain a medical license in the state of North Carolina.

Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program from an accredited university.

Board Certification or eligibility to become certified (ABMS or AOA) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrate a high level of skill with interpersonal relationships and communication with colleagues and patients.

Fully engaged in the concept of “Integrated team‑based care” model.

Superior patient/customer service.

Basic computer skills, including email and EMR. We use Athena.

Preferred Qualifications

Active and unrestricted DEA license.

Medicare Provider Number.

Minimum of three to seven years of directly applicable experience preferred.
