WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Signal Analysis: Analyze module/model output from signals of interest to facilitate the creation of follow‑on processing.
Software Design and Implementation: Design and implement software modules in MATLAB or similar suites to process signals.
Novel Processing Solutions: Develop approaches for utilizing COTS/GOTS systems to create processing solutions beyond their intended use.
Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of design processes, algorithms, and software implementations.
Requirements
20 years of experience as a Software Engineer in similar programs.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or 4 additional years of Software Engineering experience.
Demonstrated experience coding in C/C++ and Python.
Experience with Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), specifically REDHAWK/RFNext, GNU Radio, or similar.
Strong background in RF signal analysis and SIGDEV.
Familiarity with MATLAB or X-Midas.
Ability to design, develop, and implement systems within Unix/Linux environment.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of DSP principles and satellite communications system design.
Familiarity with time/frequency geolocation technologies.
Experience with C++/Python-based signal processing tools and libraries.
Knowledge of GPU/CUDA development for performance optimization.
Experience with message queue implementation and communication protocols.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Adaptability and commitment to continuous learning.
TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance.
