As a Sr. Software Engineer for HAEA you will specialize in maintenance and support, ensuring the smooth operation of the Hyundai/Kia warranty system. Your expertise in full‑stack development—including Java‑based back end, Vue.js front‑end, AWS cloud‑based CI/CD, and database management—will be crucial in troubleshooting issues, implementing enhancements, and providing technical support to internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions for the warranty system. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system upgrades, patches, and database optimization to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Monitor system health and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and disruptions. Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures for internal reference. Provide technical support to end‑users, troubleshoot issues, and deliver timely resolutions to minimize operational impact. Work closely with third‑party vendors and service providers to escalated and resolve complex technical issues. Participate in the planning and execution of system enhancements and upgrades, including testing and deployment activities. Leverage AWS cloud services for infrastructure management, scalability, and performance optimization. Utilize front‑end technologies like Vue.js to enhance user interfaces and improve user experience where applicable. Manage database systems (SQL, Oracle, etc.) to ensure data integrity, availability, and security. Design, develop, and maintain database schemas, queries, and stored procedures to support application functionality. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7–10+ years of experience maintaining and supporting full‑stack applications, preferably in the automotive industry. Must be bilingual (Korean/English). Solid understanding of Java programming language, JEE architecture, and related frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.). Familiarity with front‑end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. Experience with AWS cloud services (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, etc.) and proficiency in managing cloud infrastructure. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments is a plus. Proficiency in database management systems (SQL, Oracle, etc.) and expertise in database design and optimization. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams. Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, React.js certification) would be a plus.
