Position Overview: We are seeking an Assurance Manager with a strong background in audits, reviews, and compilations—particularly within the construction industry. The ideal candidate is a CPA who enjoys hands-on client interaction, leading teams, and ensuring engagement quality while maintaining strong relationships. Responsibilities
Lead and oversee audits, reviews, and compilations for privately held companies, with a focus on construction and manufacturing clients. Manage multiple client engagements from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with GAAP and industry standards. Supervise and develop staff through on-the-job training and mentorship. Evaluate internal controls and provide actionable recommendations to clients. Serve as a trusted advisor, maintaining consistent communication with client leadership. Assist in developing and implementing best practices within the assurance department. Requirements
Active CPA license required. Minimum 5–8 years of experience in public accounting, specifically in assurance/audit. Currently working at a CPA firm or has significant recent public accounting experience enabling a smooth transition back. Construction industry experience is strongly preferred. Stable work history and demonstrated commitment to quality and integrity. Experience with CCH software preferred.
