Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review complex tax returns including 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120S, and 990 forms
Supervise, train, and review work of junior tax staff to ensure quality and compliance
Advise clients on tax‑saving strategies, business planning, and regulatory compliance
Stay current on tax law changes and apply them effectively in client work
Support audit preparation and maintain clear client communication during audits and reviews
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience in a public accounting firm environment
Proven ability to review tax filings and lead teams effectively
CPA license required or actively pursuing CPA certification
Preferred Skills
Proficiency with CCH Axcess and QuickBooks software
Experience preparing nonprofit tax returns (Form 990)
Strong attention to detail, documentation, and excellent client communication skills
