Mid-America’s Investment Sales Team is based in Chicago and handles the disposition of retail properties throughout the greater Midwest region on behalf of public and private clients. Job Summary:
The Single Tenant NNN Lease Investment Associate on Mid-America’s Investment Sales Team is responsible for preparing comprehensive investment sales offering materials, providing due diligence support, compiling property and investor research, and generating financial projections. The position reports directly to the partners of the Investment Sales Team with primary responsibilities to support the activities of the Single Tenant / NNN Lease Investment Sales Brokers, assisting with all aspects of deal phase from inception to closing. Analytical work will be the focus of the initial 12-18 months of this position, with the ultimate goal of transitioning to a full-time Single Tenant / NNN lease investment sales broker. This
position is in person and located in the downtown Chicago office
of Mid-America Real Estate Corporation. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree 1-3 years of real estate experience Real estate brokerage license in IL within first 6 months of employment Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Argus modeling skills are preferred Strong writing skills and concise communication Outgoing personality with desire to be client facing Interpersonal connection skills and social awareness Desire to be in sales; This is an associate role that will translate to production Primary Responsibilities: Underwriting of Retail Properties Gather and Research Sales and Rent Comparables Cash Flow Modeling Abstracting Leases and Evaluating Relevant Documents Market Research Preparing/Writing of Offering Memoranda Assisting with Prospecting and Database Management
