Submarine Engineer Leverage experience as a senior‑level Submarine Engineer with passion and purpose to provide engineering support to submarine programs. Lead efforts to develop strong relationships with technical and programmatic clients and provide engineering expertise to solve client problems. General duties will include reviewing drawings and other technical documents such as specifications and waivers, making recommendations, interfacing with tech warrant holders, generating technical correspondence, and other client support as requested.

Basic Qualifications

15+ years of experience in engineering, science management, or operations research analysis

8+ years of experience with Navy acquisition or In‑Service Programs

Experience with Navy or DoD Acquisition programs

Secret clearance

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Cybersecurity field

Additional Qualifications

10+ years of experience with Navy acquisition or In‑Service Programs

Experience leading a project and interfacing with an end‑item customer

Experience with U.S. Navy submarines or Navy combat systems

Master’s degree in an Engineering or Cybersecurity field

Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
