ABOUT YOU As an Assistant Manager – Aviation Systems, you combine strong technical expertise with adaptability and precision, enabling you to manage complex operational systems and integrations in a high‑demand environment. You excel at diagnosing and resolving technical issues, ensuring system reliability, and maintaining cybersecurity compliance across diverse platforms. Your ability to communicate clearly with vendors and internal teams, paired with a proactive approach to emerging technologies, allows you to optimize performance and deliver seamless, secure operations that enhance the passenger experience.
What you will do:
Oversee the operation and support of in‑terminal digital signage and passenger information systems, ensuring accurate data integrations and timely content updates.
Serve as the primary point of contact for aviation technology platforms, including AODB modules, Safe Gate docking systems, and other SaaS solutions supporting ground operations.
Supervise vendor field teams maintaining common‑use systems, radio communications, and ground transportation technologies, ensuring performance meets established KPIs.
Ensure all systems under your responsibility comply with Massport’s cybersecurity requirements and that vendors adhere to security standards.
What you offer:
High school diploma.
5 years of experience in system administration, hardware support, and troubleshooting diagnostics.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to train users and create basic documentation.
Advanced knowledge of operating system commands/utilities, virtualization environments, and data communication protocols.
