Job Description
Provide quality interpretation between American Sign Language (ASL) and English
Display wide continuum of language, interpreting, and voicing skills
Effectively assess the language needs and style of each Deaf consumer
Provide services such as ASL Interpreting, Note-Taking, and Reading at loud services.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
with an
ACTIVE Top Secret Clearance with SCI
and
Fluent
in
Sign Language
Must have
RID/NAD
issued
National certification
4-7 years
ASL interpreting
experience with minimum 20 hours per week is a MUST
Ability to interpret voice to sign, sign to voice, oral transliteration, and deaf interpretation
Knowledge of government vernaculars
