Details RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Director of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) to join our distinguished Dentistry Department at Jersey City Medical Center. This is a unique opportunity as a part‑time leadership role (20 hours/week) that will offer the opportunity to combine clinical excellence, resident education, and program development in an academic, multidisciplinary environment.

As Clinical Director, you will provide direct supervision and mentorship to OMS residents across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care settings—guiding them in surgical management, trauma care, and academic development. You will lead didactic and hands‑on training, contribute to curriculum advancement, and collaborate with program leadership to ensure the highest standards of patient care, education, and compliance.

The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $110 an hour for 20 hours a week.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.

Qualifications:

D.D.S. or D.M.D. from a CODA‑accredited dental school

Completion of a CODA‑accredited OMS residency program

Board‑certified or board‑eligible by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Eligible for licensure in New Jersey

Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teaching, and leadership
