located in Lake Havasu City, Arizona and have oversight from a market standpoint over
Valley View Medical Center
in Fort Mohave, Arizona.
Havasu Regional Medical Center
is a licensed 171-bed acute care facility, fully accredited by The Joint Commission. As a community hospital and a regional referral center for healthcare, Havasu Regional Medical Center offers a broad and comprehensive scope of services in major medical disciplines. A medical staff of more than 33 affiliated physicians represents a broad cross-section of expertise in 31 medical specialties.

Valley View Medical Center
opened in November 2005 as a 102,000-square-foot acute-care facility with two adjacent medical office buildings. Growth in the area meant growth at the hospital, and Valley View's main building is now 126,000 square feet. This state-of-the-art hospital is currently licensed with 52 medical/surgical beds, 12 acute rehabilitation beds, 12 intensive care beds, and an eight-bed labor, delivery and post-partum unit, and is the only all private bed hospital serving the Bullhead City/Laughlin/Needles area.

General Responsibilities
Coordinates the activities of senior executives and works with them to develop short and long range objectives, policies, and procedures.
Ensures that policies are uniformly understood and consistently interpreted and administered.
Establishes the organization hierarchy and delegates limits of authority to subordinate executives; prescribes the specific limitations of the authority of subordinates regarding policies, contractual commitments, expenditures and personal actions.
Reviews and approves all financial reports, budgets, managed care contracts and major expenditures; directs, establishes, reviews, and adjusts charges for services; and maintains accreditation and licensure standards of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospital Organizations, Medicare, Medicaid, state licensure, regulatory agencies, and similar organizations.
Analyzes operating results of the organization and its principal components relative to established objectives and ensures that appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions.
Education Master's Degree in Hospital Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Management or related field is required.
Experience
A minimum of 3-5 years experience at the CEO level in a similar sized for-profit, acute-care hospital is required; however, may also consider 3-5 years of COO experience in a larger, for-profit, acute-care hospital.
Exceptional physician recruitment and relations skills are required.
Exceptional community and board relations skills are required.
Exceptional leadership skills and a hands-on visible approach to staff management and interaction are required.
Exceptional financial acumen and operations management expertise are required.
