Overview Our client is one of the largest not-for-profit medical centers in California. With four campuses throughout San Francisco, we provide exemplary inpatient, emergency, and outpatient services, including specialized care for women and children, organ transplant programs, and innovative orthopedic treatments.
They have an opening for a true "A" player to spearhead the expanding Pediatric Service line, responsible for 10 state‑of‑the‑art operating rooms.
Responsibilities Manages and provides operational and nursing leadership to ensure quality nursing care within preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative areas. Plans and organizes operations and resources to ensure effective and efficient delivery of patient care consistent with applicable laws, standards, and regulations. Provides patient care and acts as a resource person to the staff, ensuring patient care needs are met in the department.
Qualifications
Current California RN license.
BLS required.
8 years progressive clinical/healthcare management and/or operations experience with increasing responsibilities.
8 years experience in relevant professional discipline with a solid understanding of operations.
8 years management, supervisory, or team lead experience.
8 years experience in survey protocols at the department and organizational level (Joint Commission, State, etc.).
Demonstrates understanding of the healthcare financial environment.
Solid understanding of operations and workflows and how the department’s process/workflow impacts other department operations.
Demonstrates understanding of business and operational requirements.
