Software Developer MID
to join our team of passionate individuals in
Washington, DC.
In this role you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the Nation’s security and intelligence mission. You will be working in an organization whose mission is to accelerate operations through data and new analytical insights. The entire section leverages agile and works to provide enhanced reporting and global searching capabilities to facilitate task management, cross-utilization, and address national intelligence priorities while protecting confidential data and sources.
Responsibilities
Develop, test, and debug new software or enhancements to existing software.
Have a good understanding of business applications as well as user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements.
Work with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them.
Resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
Assist in the development of software user manuals.
Design, test, and secure desktop applications, implement security lockdowns, integrate with standard software packages, automate patching and deployment technologies, and provide documentation and training.
Apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments and determine innovative solutions.
Operate with latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience; if less, certifications or past work may demonstrate the required level.
Qualifications
Active Top‑Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with 6 years of related technical specialized experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; if no degree, additional years of experience may substitute.
Minimum of 3 years of related technical specialized experience.

The base salary range for this position is
$149k to $154k . This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
