Summary The Cell Therapy MSL captures medical insights and acts as a clinical & scientific advisor to cross‑functional partners, ensuring interactions align with enterprise and medical strategies to help the medical community understand the safe and effective use of BMS medicines. The MSL engages with HCPs in pre‑ and peri‑launch activities or as the brand lifecycle needs. This field‑based role involves engaging HCPs, investigators, and internal stakeholders while maintaining deep therapeutic expertise.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with TLs to develop a product/disease‑focused medical plan and execute it effectively.

Engage in scientific/clinical conversations to support product launch and LCM activities.

Interact with medical societies, PAGs, and guideline committee members.

Provide training for external speakers.

Strategically engage payers during pre‑ and peri‑launch phases (in collaboration with FEOR and Account Executives).

Address unsolicited HCP questions in real‑time, face‑to‑face or via Medical on Call.

Build credible connections with key thought leaders through high‑quality peer‑to‑peer dialogue.

Document and achieve annual goals.

Leverage digital capabilities to enhance medical engagement.

Offer insights to the clinical development team on study feasibility.

Liaise with large accounts to understand clinical barriers and support equitable trial access.

Lead major evidence read‑outs with clinical trial investigators (e.g., Phase 3 top‑line data).

Support NIR studies, including site identification and recruitment discussions.

Assist HCPs in the ISR submission and execution process.

Ensure BMS pharmacovigilance procedures are applied by local investigators and report adverse events.

Support CRO‑sponsored studies as defined by the study scope.

Required Qualifications & Experience

MD, DO, PharmD, DNP, or PhD (required).

Minimum 3 years clinical or research experience in hematology, OR 3 years as an MSL in lymphoma or multiple myeloma disease landscapes.

Cell therapy experience strongly preferred.

Ability to work independently and cross‑functionally.

Current knowledge of U.S. legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

Skill in partnering and maintaining relationships within the medical community.

Excellent communication, presentation, and time‑management skills.

Proficiency at translating scientific data into actionable information for physicians.

Travel

MSL must qualify as a driver (21 yrs+, valid license, acceptable driving risk).

MSL will spend the majority of time in the field with external customers, with additional travel as required by territory assignment.

Scientific Agility

Expert knowledge of clinical practice, evolving healthcare delivery models, and scientific publications.

Understanding of clinical trial design, GCP, and regulatory requirements.

Competent with CE³, other software, and CRM tools for data capture and management.

Use Medical on Call technology effectively.
