As the Director of Commercial Building Solutions, you’ll lead a high-performing division that delivers more than 20 essential facility services — ensuring our clients’ buildings operate at their best every single day. What You’ll Do Strategic Leadership
Set and execute growth strategies that expand CBS service offerings and market impact
Own KPIs tied to sales, service quality, and client experience
Partner with executive leadership on budgeting and forecasting
Evaluate market trends and competitors to guide strategic decisions
Sales & Business Development
Lead the CBS sales team to win, retain, and grow commercial clients
Oversee bids, pricing strategies, and proposal submissions
Strengthen long-term client relationships and identify cross-selling opportunities
Achieve individual sales goals
Project Oversight
Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to high-quality standards
Monitor contractor performance and resolve escalated client issues
Align contract deliverables with client expectations
Team Leadership
Hire, mentor, and develop top-tier sales and project management talent
Conduct coaching, performance reviews, and growth plans
Build a culture centered on accountability, collaboration, and service excellence
Vendor & Contractor Management
Maintain a strong network of reliable subcontractors and vendors
Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance, safety, and service quality
Conduct evaluations and proactively address performance gaps
Additional Responsibilities
Launch new service strategies and pilot programs
Enhance operational systems and integrate CRM/technology tools
Maintain up-to-date training materials and job descriptions
Approve all bids and ensure sales documentation accuracy
Conduct field evaluations and performance reviewsStay knowledgeable on industry trends
Collaborate cross-functionally to share leads and insights
Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety standards
How Success Is Measured
Revenue growth (monthly/quarterly)
Client satisfaction and retention
On-time, on-budget project completion
New and renewed service contracts
Vendor performance metrics
Team retention and performance
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
3+ years of leadership experience in facility services, construction, or project management
Proven B2B sales success and revenue growth experience
Understanding of commercial building systems and maintenance practices
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Experience with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and project management tools
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, and sitting
Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
Ability to navigate job sites and commercial facilities
Exposure to variable environments; PPE may be required
