Senior Engineering Manager , you will lead the development and operations of Docker’s

Container-as-a-Service (CaaS)

offerings. You’ll oversee a team that owns the entire lifecycle of these services and collaborates closely with customers and internal teams across Docker.

Responsibilities

Lead a geographically distributed team of engineers across Europe and North America

Drive the development and operation of Docker’s Container-as-a-Service platforms

Build and operate highly scalable, reliable, and performant cloud services

Work with product and engineering leadership to translate roadmap and priorities into work for your team

Take active ownership of your team members’ development, growth, and performance

Own the team’s execution and agile ceremonies

Collaborate with AI/ML specialists to explore opportunities for intelligent automation and optimization

Qualifications

Proven experience managing cloud engineering teams building and operating large-scale SaaS or platform services

Strong understanding of container orchestration and developer infrastructure

Deep familiarity with cloud architecture, scalability, reliability, and observability best practices

Experience at a hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) is a strong plus

Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and container lifecycle management

Experience leading agile, remote engineering teams

High degree of independence and ownership

Obsession with enabling engineers to do great work and delivering value to customers

Perform architecture and code reviews

Experience or strong interest in AI/ML systems or data-driven automation preferred
