The

Director, HIV Account Effectiveness Execution

reports to the Senior Director, Portfolio and Pipeline Strategy. They will use their broad knowledge of the industry, leverage their deep experience, think creatively, and partner with field‑based personnel to execute comprehensive strategies and improve Biktarvy’s competitive position.

Specific Job Responsibilities Execute strategies that enable Field Sales, Community, and cross‑functional personnel to more effectively engage customers to improve BVY’s competitive fitness in identified healthcare delivery organizations (e.g., clinic/group of clinics, not payers).

Ascertain root‑cause of unmet competitive fitness challenges/opportunities for BVY

Establish account effectiveness teams including local, field‑based personnel and relevant office‑based, cross‑functional partners

Engage account effectiveness team to conduct situational assessments and key influencer mapping exercises

Participate in field rides, matrix meetings, site visits, and account engagements

Develop and execute plan of action

Partner with and empower account effectiveness teams to develop and execute POA (e.g., single geo/child accounts)

Lead POE execution team where necessary (e.g., multi‑geo/parent accounts)

Pilot and scale value‑add partnership frameworks/narratives (e.g., quality metrics, reimbursement rates, public health scorecard)

Design measurement plan and track performance

Develop Account Effectiveness business reviews

Empower account team to develop business review narrative and present to HIV Treatment and Franchise senior leadership

Ensure maintenance of account effectiveness systems of record (e.g., G360) including strategic objectives, tasks, work plans, timelines and qualitative measurement/KPIs

Refine/finalize business review deliverables

Knowledge and Skills

Exceptional field sales, account management, or similar experience

Deep understanding of healthcare delivery, pharmaceutical markets, and commercial strategies

Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, communication, collaboration, and storytelling skills

Demonstrated ability to distill brand strategy, articulate business objectives, outline analytical needs, and identify business opportunities

Proven ability to bring cross‑functional teams together, set vision, drive consensus, and achieve shared goals

Listens carefully to others’ points of view, adapts style and content based on audience, and seeks to understand others’ motivations and needs

Able to understand and communicate clinical data and high‑level science

Able to travel domestically 50% of time or more

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and Twelve Years’ Experience

OR

Masters' Degree and Ten Years’ Experience

OR

PhD and Eight Years’ Experience

Preferred Qualifications

Masters, MBA degree, preferably in life sciences, business administration, or equivalent.

10+ years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry (preferably in specialty pharmaceuticals)
