Reporting directly to the CIO, this individual contributor will design, maintain, and optimize secure, scalable Azure solutions that support critical manufacturing, ERP, analytics, and business systems. This role ensures our cloud infrastructure’s security, resilience, and compliance. This expert will advise IT leadership, collaborate across the organization, and help shape DrinkPAK’s cloud roadmap as the company scales, without the responsibilities of people management.This is a highly skilled System Administrator with Azure experience to lead the maintenance, technical direction, and best practices for our Microsoft Azure environment. As an individual contributor reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, you will be DrinkPAK’s go-to expert for all things cloud – responsible for designing and maintaining secure, scalable, and cost-optimized Azure solutions that power our growing manufacturing operations.This role combines deep hands-on expertise with strategic influence: you’ll design modern cloud solutions, drive technology standards, maintain existing accounts, licenses, and infrastructure, and collaborate closely with IT, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure our cloud platform supports current and future business needs.**LOCATION:** The position is based at DrinkPak’s headquarters in Santa Clarita, California.**BENEFITS:** The health and wellbeing of our teams is important to us. + Design and implement secure, high-performance Azure solutions that support manufacturing systems, ERP, data analytics, and business applications.

+ Develop standards and implementations for hybrid and cloud-native workloads.

+ Evaluate and recommend Azure technologies and services aligned with business growth and innovation goals.* Cloud Governance & Optimization

+ Define and maintain governance frameworks, policies, and cost optimization strategies for Azure resources.

+ Establish best practices for environment provisioning, tagging, RBAC, and cost visibility.

+ Continuously monitor and optimize Azure utilization, performance, and spend.* Security & Compliance

+ Design security and identity architectures that comply with manufacturing and industry standards.

+ Collaborate with others within IT to implement Azure-native security controls, encryption, and zero-trust principles.* Automation & Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)

+ Build and maintain IaC templates using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM to standardize deployments.

+ Enable and support CI/CD integration for infrastructure provisioning and application deployment.

+ Drive automation and operational excellence across cloud services.* Resilience & Continuity

+ Architect disaster recovery, backup, and failover solutions for mission-critical workloads.

+ Ensure high availability and performance for enterprise and production systems.* Technical Leadership & Influence

+ Serve as the company’s Azure subject matter expert, advising the CIO and IT leadership on cloud strategy and roadmap.

+ Mentor and guide development teams on cloud architecture, best practices, and design patterns.

+ Partner cross-functionally to align cloud capabilities with business priorities and operational goals.**QUALIFICATIONS*** 7+ years of experience designing, deploying, and managing IT Systems and Azure cloud environments.* Deep knowledge of Azure services including networking, compute, storage, security, and identity.* Proven success architecting hybrid cloud and on-prem integrations.* A background in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM) and automation.* Understanding of DevOps pipelines, containerization, and CI/CD best practices.* Experience designing compliant and secure architectures for regulated industries.* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.* Preferred Certifications:
